Your donation goes directly towards supporting our operations and capital expenditures. The Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps receives its funding through "soft billing" recoveries and donations from community members in addition to the Village of Dobbs Ferry. Insurance billing allows us to recuperate costs without placing a burden on the patient. We do not pursue payment beyond the insurance company. However, this revenue does not cover the full costs associated with ambulance maintenance, salaries for supplemental paid staffing, and supplies.
