The Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps provides a variety of services to the residents, businesses, and public safety agencies in the vicinity of the village of Dobbs Ferry.
DFVAC is the primary 911 EMS response agency for the village of Dobbs Ferry, New York. This includes Dobbs Ferry Community Hospital, Children's Village, St. Christopher's, Masters School, St. Cabrini Nursing Home and all commercial and residential properties within the village.
Standby and Transports
As a member of the community, DFVAC provides standby services to many large volume events in the village. This includes Dobbs Ferry High School home football games, the annual Ferry Festa, 5k Runs, and the 4th of July. In addition we also provide ambulance transportation for residents when they require transport between healthcare facilities.
Along with promoting the general health of the community DFVAC provides CPR and First Aid courses for those interested. In addition, DFVAC provides EMS education to pre-school and elementary school students on emergency situations and how to react to police, fire, and EMS professionals.
